A) General
1. What does Altrimex offer?
Altrimex designs, supplies, and installs packaging machines up to and including complete packaging lines for hardware, powders, granulates, liquids, tablets, capsules and general cargo. These packaging and dosing machines are mainly used in the food, pharmaceutical, (petro) chemical, construction, and supplements markets.
In addition, Altrimex takes care of everything, from equipment design, installation, and maintenance to financing.
2. Who can I best approach with my question?
Depending on your product and packaging requirements, we can put you in touch with our in-house specialists. Internally, we are not organised by market but primarily by product type. Feeding, dosing, and packaging methods are very product-dependent, regardless of the industry in which products are processed. The most direct approach for you is to contact the following people:

3. Are machine manuals / plans available?
We can provide you with the correct documentation for any machine purchased from us.
4. What is the average machine delivery time?
Depending on the type of machine, delivery times can vary greatly. In most cases, delivery time is coordinated during the advisory and sales process. Stand-alone and semi-automatic machines are partly in stock in our showroom or warehouse. This allows us to respond quickly to (urgent) demands from the market. Often, this solution is used as a rental or temporary option to bridge the delivery time. For specific questions, please get in touch with our sales department.
B) Altrimex After Sales
5. Can you offer a service contract?
It is always possible to conclude a service contract for your machine or complete packaging line. The basic contract provides:
- VIP treatment: immediate response, higher service visit priority and precedence
- Helpdesk during office hours, staffed by one of our service engineers
- Annual security check of machine including safety report
- Annual technical inspection of the machine including inspection report
- 10% discount on our spare parts
6. At what time will the technician be with us?
We always consult with you to schedule a time. Circumstances en route and travel distance are considered. Special requirements regarding the start of the work may always be discussed.
7. What are the costs for the visit?
For our technicians’ visits, we use standard rates that can be found here.
8. Does the technician carry spare parts for repairs?
Standard ‘service cases’ have been developed for each group of machines. Our technicians take these with them when called out to an appointment. If the preliminary investigation, possibly in combination with an inspection visit, has made clear which parts are required, these will be organised for the visit. If you would like to replace the parts yourself, we will ensure prompt delivery.
9. Is this covered by warranty?
The basic warranty applies for six months after delivery and a maximum of 2,000 operating hours on parts except for parts subjected to excess wear and tear. Various agreements can be made during the sale of your project or when concluding a service contract.
10. Can I also order parts from you?
All basic parts for your machine are available as standard and can be delivered at short notice. Customer-specific parts can be included in the service contract or produced on request. In all cases, you can get in touch with our spare parts department.
11. What is the price / delivery time of an item?
Our spare parts department can deliver most parts from stock. For specific information, please get in touch with our spare parts department.
12. Can the parts be delivered faster?
If the pressure to produce is high, priority transport can be organised. Your parts can be delivered to you directly from our warehouse in Helmond on the day you place your order.
