What will you do?

At Altrimex, you’ll have the opportunity to truly be part of an innovative company that has been active in the packaging industry for over 50 years. From day one, you’ll be paired with an experienced mentor who will help you get started right away.

After a short onboarding period, you’ll actively contribute to challenging assignments and have the freedom to take on tasks independently, sometimes even at customer sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Based on your own learning curve, you’ll gradually take on more responsibility within our projects.

What will you achieve?

During your internship, you’ll learn everything you need to become a skilled professional in the technical field. You’ll discover how packaging lines are built and maintained, and how machines are installed at customer locations. In addition, you’ll learn how to troubleshoot and perform maintenance for international clients. In short: you’ll develop not only technical knowledge but also strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on mindset that will prepare you for a successful career.

What you bring

✅ You are an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn student (vocational level) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
✅ You have technical insight.
✅ You possess strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
✅ You are flexible (not a 9-to-5 mentality) and willing to occasionally stay overnight.
✅ You are professional, reliable, and enjoy working at customer locations.
✅ You take initiative and are open to new ideas.
